Backing up and thinking how we got started in this business… Let's see…
There was a Christmas Tour that a local Alpaca Farm was part of… I could not believe how these fuzzy creatures stole  my heart.  Having many animals from Dogs, Cats, Horses,  Mini Donkeys, and Goats the four legged world was not new to us. Coming home and saying I wanted "Alpacas" was a different story.   "What's an Alpaca" is what I heard.

After many days of  searching on the Internet and gathering a lot of information on the benefits from raising these wonderful gentle animals… We felt this was something we could get into now and enjoy for many many years to come.   Purchasing our first Alpaca in September 2006 was the starting point.,  and a happy moment for me.

Our ongoing quest for knowledge and understanding of these wonderful animals started. Larry and I began attending Seminars from hands on Neonatal clinics, to parasite control, nutrition, and reproduction.  We also visited Alpaca shows to get a better understanding of the Alpaca Industry.

We began working on our Farm, nestled in the North Georgia Mountains about the same time we purchased our  first Alpaca.   The fencing and shelters started taking place.   As our head grows in size and numbers we seem to be adding on to our small Farm all the time…

Larry and I have full time jobs also.  He is a Landscaper and owns a Nursery.  I am a Real Estate agent. We love coming home to our life here on the Farm.  The relaxing, quiet nature of these animals is wonderfully calming.

Our Goal is to breed for correct conformation, great fleece density, and bright luster.   In order to reach this goal we try to buy the best bloodlines and breed to some of the best males for a good foundation.

Along with the Alpacas we have our other "Kids".   We love them all..

We welcome Folks to share in the joys of Alpaca raising and the future they have to offer. Please call to come by the Farm and experience these amazing curious animals for yourself.

Warning… they are addictive.

Enjoy,
Donna & Larry
